Junior's best friend is Rowdy, they went together to the High School in the Rez. The had a really special friendship, they knew each other better than their own family. When Junior told to Rowdy that he is leaving from the High School, he kind of broke Rowdy's heart. Than Junior left from that High School because of the hopeness that the Indian kids have there, he had big dreams, big hopes those were impractical there. In the other school everybody was white that is why was so hard for him to find friends. In the class he met with Phenelope, who was the best looking girl in the school and who was really popullar agains Juniors unpopularity. Junior helped her to gathered together donations in the neibourhood. That got them closer each other. They have a date, where Junior kissed her and they got together. The realitonship between them was a little love and a lot of friendship. They supported and complemented each other. Than Junior found another friend in the new school, who was Gordy, the genious kid . Who protected his statement in an arguement against the english teacher. We can say that he charged Rowdy's role in Junior's life, but of course Junior continuosly missed Rowdy's personality. His other friend was his dad's best friend Eugene, who took him in to the school by motorcycle, who gave him some advices when Junior need, Eugene helped him on the basketball game. He died, what shoched Junior.
